On the surface he may seem like nothing special. He’s sarcastic, a bit hot-headed and down to earth. He tries to act tough and mysterious but it’s soon broken down any time Evelyn appears. He always seemed to be the odd one out, mostly spending time with Evelyn and not really fitting in amongst peers his age. He found peace just being with his adoptive family and Evelyn. They’re the only ones who truly understood him.

The earliest memory he had as a child was waking up on the streets of Moonbright in an empty alleyway. He can only remember small aspects of his childhood before he met Evelyn and was soon adopted by her family. He’s always wondered about his past, and how some aspects of his body don’t make sense (Why IS there a mask stuck to his face?) And the secret of his power potential…but he refuses to dwell in it – well, tries to. He’s convinced that maybe there isn’t anything special to him, and he’s just happy to be with his family. As both Evelyn and Bryan grew up together, Bryan became a big brother to her. He doesn’t try to stand out while working at the local tavern/inn with his best friend. He’s scared of change, he can’t stand the fact that Evelyn wants to travel anywhere but here. He’s scared to see what could be out there.

 When he meets Kate and Simon, he’s hesitant on helping them and warns Evelyn that they could be dangerous. Though, Evelyn doesn’t listen to him and trusts them anyway. Now, he’s on a mission to protect Evelyn from the dangerous world beyond their home town in Moonbright, and do whatever it takes to protect the ones he loves. Even if it means drastic measures.
