Jayde

Jayde is an ambitious photographer who is also Kate’s childhood best friend! He’s more of an introvert, and likes to keep to himself most of the time. Though, his friends often help him bring him out of his shell and get out of his comfort zone. He’s always documenting things in his life, and takes pictures to document his memories with his loved ones. All he wants is for everyone to get along, and for everyone to be happy, and sometimes he gets a bit carried away with achieving that goal. All in all, he has a big heart and wants to see the world become a better place for the people he loves.

One night, after calling Kate to help him with his photography project, the two discover a secret laboratory hidden away in their school. The two explore the lab until they come across an old machine, and after one accident, Jayde accidentally sends Kate to another world via a portal. Struck with the guilt and not knowing if his best friend is alive, he’s determined to redeem himself and find Kate and bring her home, while also discovering ancient secrets that lie in their college. He gets help from Fiona, one of his other best friends, to help him with research and decoding. Though, as things progress in their findings, Jayde ends up getting more and more…ambitious in his quest. 

Though, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t ever get distracted. He also meets Roxanne at a party, and she seems very determined to make sure he doesn’t find any new info on Kate or where she may have gone, whether he knows it or not. Now, he’s stuck at a crossroads. Find Kate, or accept things and go back to your normal life. Yet, with his new psychic powers, it seems like he doesn’t have many choices left.
